One of our members recently received an unexpected diagnosis. Unfortunately, he is relatively new and doesn’t qualify for FMLA and very little PTO. Please consider helping us support him during this difficult time.

Hard to believe it has been 5 years since lost Hennepin EMS paramedic Karl Meek. Karl was a dedicated paramedic, brother, uncle and son. #gonebutneverforgotten

Just a reminder that “Human Resources” exists to protect the employer and shield them from liability. Unions are the voice of working people and represent an egalitarian and accountable means of protecting workers.

Congrats to @doronclark.bsky.social on the primary win.
SD60, we did it! It's an honor to officially be the DFL nominee. Thank you to every candidate who stepped up to run. I look forward to working with all of you on making the lives of all SD60 residents better.

On January 28, SD60 will deliver the Senate majority back to the DFL.

Please consider supporting our fellow public safety professionals and union brothers and sisters in Burnsville. They need additional funds to send officers and families to Washington DC to honor these fallen heroes.

Extremely important to keep up support for EMS across the state of Minnesota. We are working with lawmakers on several initiatives to support our members and our fellow EMS providers across the state!

Senator Dziedzic was a great asset to Minnesota, organized labor and EMS. She will be missed.
Former Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic, who came from a famous northeast Minneapolis family and led the DFL Party through the landmark 2023 session, has died from the ovarian cancer that forced her to step away from her leadership role earlier this year.

Today we honor former HCAPE paramedic Jim Blanchard. Jim died while serving the community on 12-11-2002. He was an amazing paramedic and mentor to many who continue to serve the residents off Hennepin County.

These folks have been doing amazing work! Many stores here in Minnesota are joining them, with hopefully more to come!
Starbucks workers are entering the final phase of negotiations at the bargaining table - and each month, more and more are adding their voice as we fight for our contracts.

In fact, 150+ stores organized this year alone!

Today, 11 more stores are announcing their union efforts- with more TBA soon🧵

Our members donated tons of toys for a holiday event Hall STEM Academy in Minneapolis. This was a fantastic event that allowed our union members to give back to the community we serve!

We are excited for the event at Hall STEM Academy. HCAPE members and Hennepin EMS staff donated a large number of toys for students at this Minneapolis elementary school.

You and your co-workers have a FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT to organize.

When your boss tries to stop you, they are violating federal law, the Constitution, and your human rights.
