Hard to believe it has been 5 years since lost Hennepin EMS paramedic Karl Meek. Karl was a dedicated paramedic, brother, uncle and son. #gonebutneverforgotten

Very proud of our members who received the Minnesota Ambulance Association “Star of Life” award last night.

Just a reminder that “Human Resources” exists to protect the employer and shield them from liability. Unions are the voice of working people and represent an egalitarian and accountable means of protecting workers.

Today we remember Hennepin EMS Supervisor Nelson Schaefer. He died in the line of duty, 40 years ago today, January 14th 1985.

Today we honor former HCAPE paramedic Jim Blanchard. Jim died while serving the community on 12-11-2002. He was an amazing paramedic and mentor to many who continue to serve the residents off Hennepin County.

Our members donated tons of toys for a holiday event Hall STEM Academy in Minneapolis. This was a fantastic event that allowed our union members to give back to the community we serve!

We are excited for the event at Hall STEM Academy. HCAPE members and Hennepin EMS staff donated a large number of toys for students at this Minneapolis elementary school.

A big thank you to the folks at Stillpoint Engage for providing our members with a delicious meal as they serve the community on #Thanksgiving
