Are these the new animal based circuses ? Human and animal welfare could be considered more often together. For example I wonder if and how staff and/or customers are negatively impacted by harmful practices inflicted on animals.

It is 26 days since I winded myself in a fall (and hurt my hip/back)… some sports massage last week and a lesson today have helped get me back in the saddle. Shadow has looked after me very well! #horses

The Home Office sham "consultation" on cumulative protests closed on 29 September, so this immediate announcement shows Labour had already decided – yet again – to expand public order powers, well before the Manchester attack that is now used to justify it

Took Shadow out on Saturday to experience a different field ride. She calls a lot and can feel a bit anxious. I need to learn not to tense up when she calls, as she then gets ready to run to safety 🫣
We didn’t go for an unplanned gallop (thankfully) but I felt that it was in there! #horses
