Federal agents ram a man's vehicle demanding ID at Park/35th in Minneapolis today. The man says he was let go once they realized he was a US citizen. Crowd grew w/ agents then releasing tear gas & pepper spraying some along w/ press and their cameras.

I don't know if there's anybody in the Twin Cities who's not having 2020 flashbacks this weekend

I think it's working
I think if Canada wants to have a strong cultural identity we need to go back to doing what we're best at, making the weirdest fucking TV shows you've ever seen

I don't like this
Here are the snow totals and timing for the Twin Cities Sunday

Starts: 9-10 AM Sunday
Ends: 12-3 AM Monday

When to shovel: Sunday evening AND Monday morning. Wind will blow snow around all Sunday night.

Phantom reeeally doesn't like Wolf Parade (howling), but unfortunately I need to listen to Wolf Parade at top volume (emotionally compromised by the stupid gay hockey show)

Dug my little car out of an unplowed side street and white-knuckled it five blocks to a main road, almost got stuck several times, drove the 20 miles to work. Email from my manager who lives like two miles away and drives a Subaru SUV that her street hasn't been plowed so she's working from home.

Storm on its way. The excitement emanating from Dads With Snowblowers is palpable.

Year end self review highlights:
✅ Minimally sarcastic
✅ Frequent complaining still less damaging to team morale than decisions made by management
✅ Didn't murder anyone
✅ Didn't rage quit

Martinez jumped up all excited to snuggle with me but then she discovered I just ate a mint and therefore smell like mint. She's so mad 😂

Overnight snow the day before a holiday. I think management (all either on vacation or WFH) should be legally obligated to come in just to bring the twenty or so of us who have to be here donuts.

I slept like 8 or 9 hours and I'm actually kind of grumpy and confused about it
