After weeks of staring at clouds, the universe finally gave me a tiny window of clear weather—just enough to grab my first astrophotograph from my back garden.

Why were landing gears not deployed, why were flaps not deployed, why there was a wall at the end of the runway. What caused the pilot to attempt another landing soon after he went for a go-around. So many questions and so much went wrong. It sounds like an avoidable tragedy and human loss.

I am thinking of upgrading my home cctv cameras. After doing a little bit of research I am thinking of Hikvision smart hybrid Colorvu 8MP DS-2CD2387G2H-LISU/SL with AcuSense NVR DS-7604NxI-K1. It is not cheap ~£1K including an HDD. Does anyone think there is a better system out there at this price?

I stopped sharing and expressing my thoughts a few years ago, mainly because of the trolling culture on social media.
I am reconsidering it now after Bluesky, not that I am very optimistic that it will change the norms of social media, but taking it as a fresh opportunity with thickened skin.
