🧵 The Fallout show is good because it uses both look of Fallout AND its thematic core (central vault dweller, family, community, etc). For a TES show to be good, it needs to do the same thing.

TES is a hero who can be anyone. Unreliable narrators. Side plots as/more important than the main quest.

It's an anthology show, with each episode being a related (but not necessarily interconected) story. Instead of live action it is high quality animation, similar to Arcane or Spiderverse. Episodes span different genres, like Love Death and Robots does.

the way that mannimarco fully was the one who was like 'varen you GOTTA go on this quest to look for an ancient relic to become dragonborn' is kinda wild. whats more is that abnur was likely not a fan and also saw himself become fased out as varens number 1 advisor also obsessed with this father and son-in-law dynamic
