I honestly think that any visual adaptation of Dune should be anime. There are so many wacky narrative elements and so much internal monologuing that you could only get away with in anime.

In my black light puzzle mechanic, the player can use the blacklight to see the path the ghost will travel, and what obstacles it might encounter. The path uses a custom decal shader so it is only visible under the blacklight.

Here's the first clip of the black light puzzle mechanic from my horror game! The idea is that the player will use the black light to locate a start point for a puzzle, and rearrange objects in the room to help the "ghost" reach the end.

Heading back to Ontario for a busy month, but I'm really excited to get to see some of my friends in person again. Probably will slow down the already painfully slow development of my game, but I dont mind

If bluesky seems a bit "dead" to you, check in your feed settings that you don't have the minimum likes turned up to see replies.

If you have that on, you're going to be missing the most recent comments that haven't accrued likes yet

The most helpful Unity #gamedev piece of advice I can give is that if your game seems broken in new and seemingly impossible ways, restart Unity before you touch anything. Sometimes Unity just straight up gaslights you into thinking everything is falling apart
