Yes, Andres Cubas is stuck here in Vancouver and not in Pennsylvania to train with Paraguay, who face the US on Saturday in Chester, Pa.
Cubas' problem should be resolved in short order, I'm told, and won't be an issue should Caps travel to San Diego next week.

The plan is for the 2027-28 campaign to start in late July, stop from mid-December to mid-February, resume the regular season through April, then have the playoffs in May.
