No one owns the Water.
No one owns the Land.
No one owns the sand.
These are given by Our Mother.

Only by the hands of the Greedy does the Earth require a Fee 🌺

I came here. To express for no reason whatsoever just exactly how much I hate adults who buy things like Labubus. I would like to see them all spontaneously fall into the mouth of an active volcano.
It’s a cretinous decadence that I have no time for and I don’t care if anybody disagrees with me

Today I saw a guy actually skateboarding in the sea. I didn’t know there was such a thing. Instead of wheels i t has fins.
(Apparently it’s an electric 🏄 but it’s skateboard size).
It freaked me out to see!

Helping disabled people who don’t ask for help? What is the protocol? I tried to help a guy on the bus and was told off. I don’t want to embarrass disabled people. Most people pretend they don’t see. What to do?

My 77 story - my partner was supposed to get up and take exactly the number 30 bus that got blown up, to a job that he’d been offered doing some kind of artist workshop

and then the night before they cancelled with very short notice and not particularly apologetically and he was really angry

I’ve just been to see an absolutely bizarre film which all I can say is it was a cross between the fabulous furry freak brothers and Samuel Beckett waiting for Godoy with maybe a bit of endgame as well. It was absolutely bizarre. It’s called Perfumed with Mint and I saw it at the ICA in London.

Every place I have ever worked, things tick along well and morale is high then management changes and the new manager has to restructure everything. I left my last job as I saw it coming and now it’s happening in my present job. The restructuring is always bogus and crappy.

Still true:
*Britain is a success story
*Most of its cities are doing astonishingly well
*Multiculturalism is popular
*Mass immigration has not led to social disintegration
*Nostalgia is increasingly weird
*Britain is incredibly safe
*Levels of social cohesion are high
Don't let them gaslight you.

It’s entirely possible to thoroughly oppose Hamas AND reject in horror the Israeli government’s mass killing of Gaza’s civilians.
Both of these authorities are evil and corrupt

Yes. It’s an absolute shitshow.
‘Most of the opprobrium aimed at universities is fantastical. I only wish that academic life was as radical and subversive as its detractors believe.’

#ai is not the problem, lazy gormless humans are. Friend just sent me a translation done for a big well known client. She’s a proofreader, they “translated” it with AI and sent her a mess of gobbledygook. None of the language characters were correct (it’s Turkish) rendering the words meaningless.
