What a Sunday night in Ōtepoti #Dunedin, NewZealand

After steady rain all day, it cleared up (to 3°C), so at midnight I went for a walk with my #Nikon #Z7ii camera & tripod around Muaūpoko Otago Peninsula.

During Aug-Oct the Milky Way is getting very low in the western sky.

I had a beautiful birthday. All my favorite things - a long walk in the woods, visiting two old graveyards I'd never been to, petting shelter cats, and now I'm wearing silky pajamas and listening to hardcore/deathgrind while making my favorite dinner: pasta e fagioli and crusty fresh bread. ❤️🌳🐈‍⬛🥖
