MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) is a brief, paper‑and‑pencil screening tool used by clinicians to detect mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early Alzheimer‑type dementia. It takes under 10 min to do, and says nothing about ones IQ.
Gupta: Nobody takes a Montreal Cognitive Assessment with this type of frequency. Doing it as frequently as he’s doing makes no sense. I don’t know any neurologist who would recommend doing a MoCA with that type of frequency. It’s not the flex that I think he believes it is.
