Made a thing with pew pew laser beams!

This is one of a run of six, after two prototypes. Engraved on 1/4” birch ply, finished with shellac and buffed with paste wax. First big project on the xTool S1.

😢 A stray who was hit by a car came into the shelter a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in sponsoring him to help with medical costs - which included leg amputation. His name is Hopscotch. www.instagram.com/p/DMjGYxOP9n...

A good Samaritan found him on the side of the road in St. Albans and brought him to BEVS, where it was determined that, in attention to his facial wounds, he also had a severely fractured leg and suspected head trauma. He arrived at HSCC the next day and our med team quickly got him into surgery to amputate his leg. After a few rounds of fluids, antibiotics, and blood work, Hopscotch is now on the road to recovery and getting used to his new tri-pawd status. He still has some healing to do before he's available for adoption, and he's a pretty spicy boy - we don't know whether that's because he's under-socialized or if he just needs more time to feel safe, but we do know he'll need a calm, cat-savvy home when he's ready to find one.”

These are all the cats we have taken into the rescue since May who are going to be ready for new homes very shortly (not including Chicory & Satsuma, who also need homes). Most of these are kittens, cute silly round fluffy babies. I’ll be working on getting them all upload to Petfinder soon!
