In Super Mario Sunshine, Shadow Mario's voice is created by applying a filter to Mario's voice; however, he does not use all of Mario's voice clips. By making Mario himself use the filter, we can finally hear Shadow Mario say things like "MAMA hoohahoo wow wow" and "The horror".

last week the dentist told me I’m probably grinding my teeth in my sleep… I have to get a filling repaired tomorrow and then I’ll need to get a mouthguard to wear at night ☹️
