Languages (that's my degree), birds, animals, plants, fungi, education (that's my job), and urban landscapes. I'm from the seaside and occasionally yearn for it.

I feel very lucky to get to share so many wonderful, hidden little worlds and creatures with almost 4k people on BlueSky!

I went out with my camera today for the first time in forever, and watched this cute little sproinglet explore a miniature slime mold forest on a log - lovely 😊

Good morning from my buddies. So grateful for the wildlife that stops by when I can't go out much.

A day in the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park at Germany's Baltic Sea coast. Strong wind and light rain = no people as far as the eyes can see 🙂

Very chuffed to have won the Landscape Prize for my tiny shipping container painting @discerningeye @mallgalleries in London. It’s on display amongst an array of brilliant art works until November 24th, should you be interested.

Tonight's full moon is known as a Beaver Moon. It gets its name because in November, Beavers begin to take shelter within their lodges, near the banks of rivers and streams, preparing themselves for the long winter to come.
