Hello, you. Slowly on-boarding. Give me a sec while I catch my breath.
Epic film “The Harder they Come” ; revisit it . RIP Jimmy Cliff. A giant. Jake’s Legendary Inn and bar - where this film was written - was hit hard by the recent hurricane this year. Support relief efforts if you are able.
Much of the world had never seen or heard of the Jamaica that Jimmy Cliff introduced in 1972’s “The Harder They Come.” The film, and its accompanying soundtrack, brought the genre out of Jamaica and helped pave the way for future stars. nyti.ms/4ol4Lm3

Even if you don't speak Italian, you can make a decent guess at the meaning of the word mangiamaccheroni. The tricky bit is that maccheroni refers not to the pasta English-speakers today call macaroni...

Why the Time Has Finally Come for Geothermal Energy
It used to be that drawing heat from deep in the Earth was practical only in geyser-filled places such as Iceland. But new approaches may have us on the cusp of an energy revolution.

I always try to shop local, however, after a delayed meeting at Yonge & Eglinton, I dipped into Shake Shack; I was please to see that they had Niagara Wine & local beer, branded "Shackmeister" Ale & Stout, from Bellwoods Brewery, Toronto. They gave me a handy holder to carry on my bike, for later.
