This is probably part of the recent resentment of women too.
A major thing about automation is it has pushed people into work in services, which is not a good personality fit for everyone.
Male, military, different geographical distribution than some professions, lower education requirements, and in general solitary "traveling" jobs seem to attract/create more conservative personalities (see also - sales reps, truckers, etc)

The thing about Trump is that everything with him is exactly what it looks like. We've been through this before, with anxious liberals fretting that something or other is a clever double-fakeout. It never is. It's always just the thing in itself.
Given how news cycles work and the dynamics of the Trump propaganda/conspiracy machine, I don't find it plausible that the DOJ knowingly planted fake evidence against Trump in the Epstein files so they could discredit it later.

I honestly don’t know what we’re going to do about the third of the nation who is fine with fascism, wants white supremacy, anticipates evangelical intrusion into every aspect of our lives.

They have no desire to assimilate into a democratic republic and will resort to violence to get their way.

CBS may as well start airing a 24/7/365 yule log fire with public domain music. They’ll save a lot of money—which they’ll need when their only advertisers are MAGA.

Good luck, fuckers!

“Immense world” is a remarkable book written with a lot of science but also sensitivity. I try to get everyone to read it. It totally changed the way that I think about how animals think.
