It's the Autumn Equinox - the first astronomical day of autumn! 🍂

Crisp air on your cheeks...
The smell of damp earth.
Dew sparkling in cobwebs.
Cold hands wrapped around a hot drink.
A Robin singing as golden leaves crunch underfoot...

Remember that MLK said America suffers not just from "the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people."

Dear @BBCNews,
Is there any possibility of you taking even the tiniest break from blowing smoke up the Fagash Führer's ass?
Many thanks 🙄

Florida bans "The Diary of Anne Frank" in school libraries. Whoever made this decision should have to eat every page of that amazing book, page by page.

Nationalism is by default unimaginative and paradoxically every example of it is broadly similar to other examples everywhere else in the world.

It's always about flags and chants and xenophobic exceptionalism. The mantra of people who don't have the imagination to actually love where they live.

Donald, welcome back from your little play date. We hope you had a lovely time...

Now, moving on, only one outstanding matter for you to attend to, if you could just #ReleaseTheEpsteinFiles , that would be just great.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I think it would be good to get some women in charge of the countries that have nuclear weapons. Women talk to each other. Women can be reasonable. Enough with the macho men and swinging dicks.

"When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle."
The Silence of the Generals
As President Donald Trump crossed a dangerous line at Fort Bragg, the brass failed to speak out in the Army’s defense.

Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.

The always excellent and sublimely talented Bronia. Please, do give her a follow.
I write poetry
It helps me to organise and process my thoughts.
It’s like taking something out of my mind and storing the emotions inside the poem.
The poem becomes a vessel or maybe a nest.

I’m going to be cutting up poems and weaving them into nests soon as part of a project I’m working on. 🪺
