Why are more people not concerned with the dangers of lead in new and old products such as mugs, dinner plates and baby bottles? Do people not care? not know? or not have the energy?
I wonder what the effect is on the population? On politics on emotions and on intelligence?

I have boycotted Spotify over its hosting of Tates crap? Where is a more ethically conscious place to get music? Shall I go back to cds?

My wonderful four year old nephew told the swimming instructor that he had his goggles with him to supervise his eyes underwater.

Love him so much.

You think about certain things in history and think, how were people fooled and manipulated into thinking a leader was so different to who they really were then it happens in front of your eyes and you see how, and quite often they are too proud to admit that they have been fooled and manipulated.

I absolutely detest Richard Tice. What a monster he is. I just hope karma is real.

Hello terrarium makers I want to upcycle some glass water bottles into sealed terrariums, I would like to collect moss and lichen on sticks on my walks. I’m just wondering will moss and lichen survive in a sealed terrarium? And would a 375ml bottle be big enough?

Let’s move to the moon

Parallel, on different sides
along the balance beam each glides
in and out they weave their threads
in between the warps and wefts
dark and light, intwines and tangles,
light it breathes and darkness strangles.
life rich tapestries created
full of all that’s loved and hated.

January is a mixed month
Whether you are surrounded by friends and family or spending time alone, if you are feeling ready for 2025 or struggling with it or if you are a mixture of both I wish you well for the year ahead.

New year wishes.

My husband has some time off over Christmas and new year for the first time in about 5 possibly 10 years. We have watched 3 80s movies in 3 nights.
The goonies
Short circuit
And flight of the navigator.
What shall we watch for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day?
80s movies only please.

Every year at Christmas time
the creatures meet to watch the skies
in the field behind the wood
waiting for the moon to rise
past the moon they see the stars
and the planets as each one glows
hare teaches astronomy,
he loves to share all that he knows.

Is anyone not exhausted? Seriously I’m just so tired all the time. I get enough sleep albeit at the wrong time. Would being a morning lark help? Brexit, Covid and Politics have all played a part I’m sure, I just wish I wasn’t so tired all the time. If this is 40 I’ll be struggling at 50-60

Wishing you warmth and wellbeing
Happy Boxing Day

The Boxing Day ballet

Watch the creatures
as they dance
Some sway, some spin
and others prance

A special dance
while bright stars glow
leaving footprints
in the snow.

Rudolph the red nose reindeer had a very shiny nose and Rudolph would not have been bullied if the other reindeers had been taught to be kind in the first place.

Warm winter wishes

It was Christmas Eve
in the well-being wood
this year all the creatures
had tried to be good
they hung Christmas stockings
on branches with care
hoping that Santa
would soon visit there.

A shout out to all the sane people who don’t put non edible berries and foliage next to food at Christmas.
They might look pretty but I don’t want them near my food. Thanks.
