If I may present an alternative opinion on cloud outages:

Occasional short reminders of fragility in centralization and smoke-testing of our societal systems with effectively inconsequential events, is important.

There is going to be day gigaoutage culminates, due to lack of minoroutage warnings.

"Congress, do not waste your time and energy on anything else."

Sir, what do you mean by "anything else"? What else could Congress possibly be focusing on right now?

Polebridge, Montana, and the surrounding North Fork area only has around 100 full-time residents. On Saturday, the hamlet on the edge of Glacier National Park saw more than 60 people attend a No Kings Indivisible rally at the dirt road intersection.

In kindergarten, our teacher took roll by requiring us to give her the phone number of our house, our parents’ work, or the local sheriff. Yes, it was before 9-1-1 existed in our community. I’m old. #genx

We must learn from history. By sending the Ohio National Guard to help Trump suppress peaceful protesters, Governor Mike DeWine is betraying Ohioans who said #NeverAgain after the #KentStateMassacre. Ohio’s National Guard Members didn’t sign up to be used so dangerously as political pawns.
