Adventures in Christmas gifts… we bought a copy of Borderlands 4 for everyone in the family so we could enjoy the campaign together. Oops… unsupported on SteamDeck… Oops… multiple blue screens then OS reinstall on my old PC but game fails to install… back to SteamDeck forcing the settings low 🤞

Oh. Uh. I was more laughing because of how horrifying connecting the computer of the car to the internet is. It's bad enough I use Android Auto which is you know sending my GPS data to Alphabet 🙄 but all the *other* shit??? Exactly accelerometer data, g forces, whether I am wearing my seatbelt???

Watching car salesmen days before year end baffled that sales have been down for 3 to 4 months. The cars are worse, cost twice as much, wages are half what they were, and you want $700 a month to lease. Nobody’s making money. Of course no one’s buying.

It won’t be better in 2026. Any guesses why?

At risk of sounding like an old cranky person, I am annoyed at how many things that used to work don't work now. The Prime Videos app on Windows has random digital hitches. My wireless controller now cuts out at random intervals for 20-30 seconds. Things that used to just work, now suddenly clunky.
