I’ve seen a lot of comparisons of Nayuta and Yoshida’s deaths and I really don’t think they are comparable narratively speaking.

In top of it being a natural conclusion to the arc before it, Nayuta was given context and recontextualization to her /entire/ character and relationship with Denji.

I mean, at the very least, /how/ Yoshida got involved in this plan needs context or explanation for like— basic coherency because the last time we saw him (and he and Death together), it’s pretty clear they weren’t on the same side with regards to anything.

Reading this, it's as if Denji is searching for the "eye contact" he has with Yoshida. And. Uh. Not seeing Yoshida's face makes it more painful, he lost him.
