chainsaw man part 2 was predicted to be partially a metanarrative on the narrative of "Chainsaw Man" as a "battle shounen" and how instrumentalizing children in service of the Nation (war, families) is analogous to killing character to turn into Battle Shounen Roles & so. these latest chapters huh

okay gonna post a bit in this thread about boarding the alastor vs vox conversation in #hazbinhotelseason2 🥰
so thrilled to have worked on ep 4!! i was so honored to basically have free reign over the alastor and vox encounter at the end (including the flashback, isn't baby vox the cutest??). thank you to everyone for letting me go buck wild, and seeing yandere eyes alastor in motion is just...the best🥰

something I’ve noticed is that recently each time Denji has reached some kind of epiphany about finding a form of happiness or motivation to keep going (as ultimately flawed and harmful as they may be), it is accompanied by Asa being brought to the ground, huddled and curled into herself
