In a “post-truth” political landscape it’s imperative that we understand that while facts definitely still matter, emotions matter more.
We must wrap our arguments around stories of those impacted by what’s coming from the GOP trifecta (including our own), mold public opinion and mobilize to win.

When someone explicitly asks for a reasonable accommodation for a disability and you tell them they can just do the thing they have specifically asked for help with, that's ableism in action.
People don't ask for these things just for fun or because they're lazy. They ask because they need them.
