Scouting, particularly the formerly named BSA, has been an important part of our family. I have a girl and a boy and both are involved and my oldest is just some paperwork away from Eagle.

I got hit in the head while in the water (my fault, no concussion). The goose egg changed over night and now I think deep purple is my color.

Pro tip/request for @chi.acm.org and other authors after reviewing 6k articles for keywords:
- List your participants clearly as children if they are
- the words "child" or "children" are not synonyms for inexperienced people.

Do you work with children and literacy and technology? Did you read Emily Rhodes' (and my) paper on using tech to encourage reading in families with a low-lit parent?

Even though it's a bit older, it is still relevant today.
