Doesn’t Congress have to approve this?
What am I saying, he does what the hell he wants and nobody stops him.
Question Sheila, when SCOTUS granted immunity to the president didn’t that apply to Biden as well?

Well, Congress won't do anything, and these two (Johnson & Thune) have telegraphed inaction and posturing as support. Thune especially telegraphs that he's more out to lunch than a casual.

It's horrifically amazing how it's rara messaging to the base despite every further step into the abyss.
Speaker Johnson releases a statement saying "The military operations in Iran should serve as a clear reminder to our adversaries and allies that President Trump means what he says."

There are 100k students in med school each year. Room and board is about 100k per year. For 10b a year, med school could be free. We would see a wholesale change in the profession, career paths and the cost of care.

It would change the economics for every financial decision doctors
Republican plans to cap student borrowing could shatter an everyday profession
One GOP senator said anyone paying more than $100K to go to med school is "making a huge mistake." But the median cost of attending one is more than double that for the class of 2025.

I have nothing to add.
Trump will soon speak to the nation about the unprovoked war crime of unilateral war that he just illegally ordered.

Every word out of his mouth will be a lie.

He will lie about history, about intel, about Israel, and about his own interests.

He will lie to ALL our faces.

This deserves your full-fledged attention.

The weaponization of the "anti-Christian bias" task force (created by EO in February & led out of DOJ) has begun at the Dept of State.

Co-workers are being ordered to inform on instances of "anti-Christian bias."

Christians are 62% of the population!
“The Trump administration has ordered State Department employees to report on any instances of coworkers displaying ‘anti-Christian bias’ as part of its effort to implement a sweeping new order on supporting employees of Christian faith.”
State tells employees to report on one another for ‘anti-Christian bias’
“It’s very ‘Handmaid’s Tale’-esque,” one official said.

“saving money” can only come in the form of ripping benefits away from the poor, never collecting from the rich what they owe us

IRS cuts are exactly the opposite of government efficiency, and exactly the point of the kleptocracy
To review what we from @washingtonpost.com are reporting out of the IRS today:

- Projected tax revenue this year is down 10% ($500 billion) as Trump's downsizing is emboldening tax cheats

The point of firing IRS employees is so the rich and cheat on their taxes and get away with it.
After mass firings, the IRS will be forced to close audits of wealthy taxpayers.

Audits of rich individuals and corporations will soon be closed — without action — due to a lack of personnel to complete them.

Millions upon millions in revenue will be lost.
