look, this is unvarnished racism. It's not the first time trump has made his knuckle scraping bigotry so clear, but it is well past time for this to be called precisely what it is and for trump supporters to own up to it.

trump is a bad person. He has destroyed the notion that there should be standards of excellence--or even basic decency and competence--in government. It is shameful for people to believe that anyone conducting themselves this way is fit to serve in office.

An awesome thing about being a journalist, and not a politician or advocate, is you can say true things even when they’re unpopular. For example, climate change is real, perpetrated by specific actors, harms many people, and should be resolved as fast and thoroughly as possible.
