That’s because you’re a prick, Kevin.
Canadian multimillionaire and Shark Tank guy Kevin O'Leary went on TV to say he's upset Zohran won't talk to him: "I and others who invest in real estate have tried to get a meeting to figure out what's rhetoric and what's policy. So far for me it's been crickets."

A young Tory MP's name gets mentioned as someone ready to cross the floor. He goes to ground and then suddenly announces he is stepping down.
Young MPs just don't quit politics unless someone dumped a political horse head in the bed.

#Bluejays 2026 rotation:

Gausman
Berrios (hair on fire)
Bieber (healed)
Yesavage
TBA;

Teidemann will get a look, but prolly starts in Buffalo

Bassitt sure looked good out of the pen. Would he do it? Prolly not. Might be a rotation option, but there are others.

Looks very good already.

One way or the other, Bo Bichette will be the biggest story of the #BlueJays’ offseason.

Thoughts from today on how that looks after we heard from Shapiro and Atkins:

Bichette receives qualifying offer from Blue Jays
TORONTO -- The Blue Jays have extended a qualifying offer to Bo Bichette, and now that the formalities are out of the way, the real fun begins. Bichette will surely decline the $22.025 million qualify...

Mark Shapiro opened with some poignant thoughts on the 2025 #BlueJays, what they accomplished on the field and how they “brought communities together.”

Now says he’s more motivated than ever to win:

“I hadn’t looked at the field since Saturday… I couldn’t look at the field.”

Go ahead, tell me this isn’t a full 180 from the statistical mania moulding the team post-Covid.

I’m not buying.

One characteristic of good leadership is the ability to change direction & learn.

We may be seeing the permanent moderation of said mania. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Mark Shapiro keeps coming back to the “toughness and togetherness” of the #BlueJays, which they want to build on.

“… They’re not analytical. They have to do with parts of the game that are still beautiful, because they have to do with makeup, character, chemistry, culture.”

Ross Atkins says the #BlueJays have “picked up the option” for John Schneider for 2026, which happened earlier, and are “talking about the potential of that being longer.”

Ross Atkins, when asked if Jeff Hoffman would be the #BlueJays’ closer next season:

“The great thing about Jeff is he’s not married to that … I think he would be open to anything that makes us better.”

The Toronto #BlueJays gave us arguably the closest #WorldSeries in modern history, and the most fun and inspiring playoff run I can remember in any sport. I LOVE THAT TEAM, and 100% believe #TORONTO should have a HUGE CELEBRATION ANYWAY, to thank the team, fans, city and COUNTRY for a legendary run!

Shattered.

But the #BlueJays are one hell of a team.

Thanks for a hell of a ride, gentlemen.

Jeff Hoffman said he cost the #BlueJays the World Series. He was great throughout the playoffs; we wouldn’t have been there without him. One bad pitch wasn’t everything. No single player should bear that burden. 3 for 17 with RiSP ain’t great. Every guy on this team can hold their head up high.

Watching the #BlueJays postseason coverage, instead of celebrating a #WorldSeries w/ neighbours. Feeling very sad listening to the open emotion expressed by all. This team is an extraordinarily warm, caring & thoughtful group who loved playing great baseball together. 💙 Love our team. Very sad loss.

Congratulations to the Toronto Blue Jays on a magnificent season. It is a shame either team had to lose. And this was a gut punch. 💔💔

Classy players, fanbase, and truly one of the finest cities in the world.

Future is bright with Yeasavage, Barger, and Vladdy.

Now go re-sign Bo.

It was, to borrow Wellington’s famous expression after Waterloo, “a near run thing”... Disappointing, especially seeing as the Jays out hit and out scored the Dodgers in the series, but such is the way of things sometimes. Oh well, next year for sure, right?

What an awesome journey. It didn't work out in the end, and that's ok.
Most of the world is full of gloom, but this was a bright spot that brought people together in all kinds of ways.
Thank you #BlueJays!!

Yamamoto is not WS MVP of Jeff Hoffman closes a game.

🤷

He should share the trophy.
