This is 10km up the highway from me. Last night, two vehicles drove around the barricades and onto the highway. They swamped and required rescue from emergency services. Don’t be like them. #bcfloods

I for one, am shocked that consumer protection regulations are effective at protecting consumers…

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar.

Funny enough, just watched it again tonight…

It can’t be December… it’s still March.

I’ve had an MRI. There’s no chance you don’t know what they’re scanning unless you are having significant cognitive issues.
If your doctor decided you needed an MRI (indicating concern about something serious) and you claim that you didn't ask why or what part of your body he wanted to look at, you are:

1. Really stupid; or

2. Dangerously detached from reality; or

4. Lying; or

4. All three. 🎯

A framework to build and expand pipelines through BC without including BC at the negotiating table. You really think we’re just going to sit back and let it happen?

That’s delusional.
Premier Smith and I have agreed to a framework built on shared ambitions — to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, unlock the full potential of Alberta’s energy resources, and build a stronger, more sustainable, more competitive economy.

Moscow Mitch here pretending that he doesn’t hold significant responsibility for where the US government is right now. He enabled this.
US Senator Mitch McConnell:

"Putin has spent the entire year trying to play President Trump for a fool. If Administration officials are more concerned with appeasing Putin than securing real peace, then the President ought to find new advisors. ...

It’s not a gotcha to say “what if Clinton is in the files?”

If he’s implicated, prosecute him too. Alluding to a double standard is only telling on yourself. Everyone who breaks the law should be prosecuted.

Jealous of all the northern lights this week. Just spent 2 night shifts outside on track and didn’t see them once. Cloud cover is an unfortunate side effect of living and working in the Pacific Northwest…

Just Fucking Why?
The world’s richest man was just handed a chance to become history’s first trillionaire. Elon Musk won a shareholder vote on Thursday that would give the Tesla CEO stock worth $1 trillion if he hits certain performance targets over the next decade.
Musk could become history's first trillionaire as Tesla shareholders approve giant pay package

Perspective. It’s a game. It’s sad that they lost. Being part of a fanbase means you can all be sad together.

But it’s still just a game.

This year I have driven in Vancouver, Toronto, Seattle, San Diego, New Orleans, and Boston. No where do drivers so maliciously try to prevent zipper merges as they do in Winnipeg.

Really.

You know, if he is going to try and weaponize the justice system against people, you’d think his first two targets wouldn’t be people intimately familiar with the justice system.

Not that this is a surprise to me, but it really hit me today… the GOP would rather kids die from gun violence than live with autism, and doesn’t that really just shine a light on their humanity…

I had already cancelled Disney+ in January after the tariff issue, but was considering resubscribing at the end of the year. That is now not going to happen. Corporations have to be shown that kowtowing to authoritarians for short term gain is not good for long term business.

Kirk held views I find reprehensible, and I never once found him to be a voice that contributed constructively to political or social dialogue.

Nevertheless, his murder is an unconscionable act of political violence and should be condemned.

The fact that the establishment was so quick to put up barricades and try to keep people from seeing it sure speaks volumes. Banksy, screaming truth to power, as always.
This is what happens when justice serves power instead of people.

Banksy’s latest piece shows a judge beating a protester. They rushed to throw up barriers to hide it.

We need this here because it looks a lot like our own Supreme Court vs. the people.

Having to be away from home and family for work is challenging at the best of times. But seeing the look on my 4yo’s face when we see each other on FaceTime says all the unspoken reasons for why I do what I do.
