At age 19, my Terrorism Studies professor instructed us to research incidents of US intelligence agencies' abuses. I researched the DIA's use of the "Black Jail" at the Bagram base in Afghanistan. The stories about prisoners being chained to the ceiling and tortured made me realize the US is evil.
Not to be a wide-eyed naïf about such things but... am I right in thinking that they levelled an entire building to get to one guy and *that* is not controversial to anyone in the American media or political class, only that this information was recklessly shared in an unsecured chat?
