The stock portfolios of more than two dozen members of Congress outperformed the market in 2024.

This isn't due to luck or skill.

Lawmakers can use privileged information to trade stocks while they’re supposed to be working for you.

Make no mistake, it’s legalized corruption.

So what do my HCW friends think about NYU Langone spending millions of dollars in the Super Bowl for an ad instead of say paying more to their workers or buy new equipment?
Good use of resources? 🤔

DOGE operative Marko Elez got the ability to alter US Treasury payment system code on Feb 1, WIRED's sources say.

For days, Trump officials fed members of Congress and the press a different story.

Elez is out now for posts reading "I was racist before it was cool" and "normalize Indian hate."

Sources tell WIRED that the ability of DOGE's Marko Elez to alter code controlling trillions in federal spending was rescinded days after US Treasury and White House officials said it didn't exist.

By the way, this is now the second time in the first two weeks Trump has folded. They rescinded the memo about the spending freeze outrage, and now they’ve paused the tariffs for Mexico.

He wants you to think he’s all powerful, he isn’t. Keep up the pressure and attention.

Ron Johnson complains that the market reaction to tariffs he supported are hurting his stock portfolio, and he did not have enough warning to sell or buy stocks based on targeted countries.

He's manipulating the stock market. Impose tariffs, stock market downturn at opening....
Calls friends tell them to buy low
Removes some tariffs... rinse repeat in a bunch of variations until the middle class drowns. It's like waterboarding, but with the stock market.

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.

I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt.

But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are

Under FACA, DOGE is required to comply with transparency, ethics, records retention and equal representation. DOGE is currently violating these requirements.

So, DOGE has two choices: follow FACA requirements or shut down.

So the Dems are aligned in using the Hegspeth allegations to oppose him. Dumb.
The man is not qualified for the job. That is all that matters. He has never managed more than 100 people. He won't be the actual one running DOD because he has no clue how.

And this is what the Dems focus on ?

It’s just a matter of time until a lot of people lose money from this.

I’m a crypto fan. This is not crypto any more than Madoff was just buying and selling shares of stock
