I am thankful for a social media site that’s not run by disinformation-pushing maniacal billionaire, not controlled by an algorithm design to censor news and much-needed debate, and not overrun by mean-spirited people who encourage and celebrate ignorance. Thankful, indeed.

This is chilling. In September, as Elon Musk began buying Trump a presidency after Trump promised him a federal department he could use to destroy his enemies, Trump agents at the Heritage Foundation began filing FOIA requests to find anyone in government who had ever mentioned Musk in any document.
