Just for clarity: This is on the Canva site for your Canva account, and this has always been the case with your Canva data (definitely go turn it off!).
The Affinity app is excluded from this setting until you upload a design to Canva, then this setting takes effect.

You can tell them not to use your content to train AI, BUT, there is another AI setting that is on by default until you turn it off.
You need to go to your account settings and switch it off. I just found it switched on by default.

Very useful info if you're EU based. As bad as it sounds, I don't think they care much about human rights and freedom of speech so dropping some laws and the threat of legal repercussions might work better in this case.

A little warning for artists, if you have very very very low commission prices; you’ll likely will run into frequent nightmare clients, clients that’ll try to lowball your art/prices and can end up having too much work to do if you do unlimited slots
