I have been trying to limit my social media consumption. Or at least the political theater that's happening now. I am outrage, but I don't know how much more I can outraged. I removed FB and Threads from my phone. Meta seems like they want politics on the forefront. Unfortunately, I still have IG.

American citizens should not have to enter into a contract with a private company (that’s an X account signup!) to receive government communications
The NTSB says it will no longer email news outlets or reporters with notifications of upcoming press conferences, including those on plane crashes in Washington and Philadelphia.
Instead, all notifications will be made on X.
We're filing a FOIA to find out more about the change in policy.

Had to tell someone of a mutual friend's passing. They're not on FB and just remembered they wouldn't have known. That's something they don't teach you when becoming an adult is sharing grief or bad news.

AI is slowly integrating more into my work workflow. When I have a technical question, I am starting to go to ChatGPT or CoPilot for an answer. I'd say 3/5 times it provides me with what I need and faster than digging through search results.

I am signed up for two gravel races in March. A 50k and a 100 mile race. The 50k is the week before the hundred mile race and is more of a proving race than anything. March is going to come quick.
