That should've been one of their top priorities when doing the world-building for the show. Like so many soaps were able to find their footing when they had a supercouple to anchor them.

I wonder if they had a rule in place that they weren't going to recast any roles for a certain period of time because the way they're holding onto the actors who are absolute ass is WILD.

Idk if they're ignoring those fixes or if it's the shooting schedule is biting them in the ass when it comes to that stuff. If there's course correcting happening like Hayley the scammer viewers won't see it until months down the line. If possible they should rethink shooting so far in advance.

Oof. My biggest disappointment about it is the lack of romance and root-worthy couples on a show where black women make up a nice portion of the cast. It's very heartbreaking to see their effort on that aspect of the show.

You're so right they do have a habit of backsliding in quality. I understand the show won't always be on its A game, but the lows are truly testing me. It will forever be baffling how this show was promoted as being about a powerful family, but they stay getting punked by any and everyone.

It has none of the heart of the OG. They were so going for a knockoff of Buck pinned underneath the engine and bystanders joining the 118 to rescue him, but it didn't hit. Nashville's version with the concert scaffolding didn't have the emotional pull like the OG bc a main character wasn't trapped.
