They're cutting Medicaid and food stamps so the top 1% can get even richer and the poorest can be ground into the dirt and thrown into concentration camps.

I've lost my job and I will probably die next year because DOGE cancelled the clinical trials for the cancer treatment that was my only realistic chance to stay alive. But at least I know that migrants are in a jail that is surrounded by pythons and alligators.

We were up all night fighting this, but Trump’s big bill officially passed the Senate just now.

I can only describe it one way: Rich people won and working families lost. Republicans chose tax cuts for millionaires over Americans and their health care.

Lisa Murkowski never fails to disappoint. Like the rest of her GOP colleagues, she’s a coward.

We the people will remember every single person who voted to legalize this authoritarian regime.

And when we return to power, we will hold all of these corporate-owned, self-serving traitors accountable.

A few thoughts from me on what happens next. Let’s go.
Trump’s Tax Scam now heads back to the House, where Republicans can only afford to lose 3 votes. The bill barely squeaked by with a single-vote margin the first time, and it’s only gotten more divisive since.

Anyone who tells you this is a done deal doesn’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
Trump’s Big Ugly Bill has passed the Senate. We can still defeat it in the House.

Republicans are passing a bill they haven’t read so we’re outside the Capitol reading it for them

Spoiler alert: it’s really bad
I’m leading a Read-In for Our Future today where we’ll be joined by students, advocates, and other Members of Congress to read the almost 1,000 page Republican reconciliation bill and expose their cruel agenda.

Come by the Capitol to join us anytime today (we’ll be here til almost midnight)!

As President Trump and his allies pushed his tax and domestic policy bill, which passed in the Senate on Tuesday, they have insisted that the legislation would be a boon for seniors and the middle class. But some of their most repeated talking points have not been accurate. https://trib.al/7SYzlwD

It’s 2AM on a Sunday and I’m heading to the Capitol to FORCE a full reading of the Republicans’ 940-page bill.

This bill will rip health care coverage away from 16 million people and cut food assistance.

It’s sick. And we will not stand for it.

Stop letting them convince you the only valid direction is from the bottom to the top. They’ve been selling that snake oil for decades.
