You will not save everyone from hunger or the cold or the police doing this—but you will help someone who would not have been helped. And that, combined, with work for structural change, is really big.
Figure out who needs feeding and feed them. Figure out who needs clothing and clothe them. Figure out who needs housing and house them. Yes, fight for EBT and a living wage and zoning reform too, but we cannot wait or bet on those things.
