Given that the BBC endlessly gives platforms to lobbyists from the dark money junktanks without revealing their interests, shouldn't we be seeing such apologies every day?

Better still, how about not doing it? If they want to appear, we should know on whose behalf they are speaking.

The BBC joins a long list of media companies now obeying in advance. I can't say I'm surprised or at this point even angry. It is a structural flaw in legacy media

All I can do is promise that Democracy Docket will never bow down or bend a knee. It will remain unapologetically pro-democracy.
NEWS --> BBC confirms to me that they did edit a line out of historian @rutgerbregman.com's speech. It called Trump "the most openly corrupt president in US history."

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.

New piece:

Trump’s Fury at BBC Gets Unnerving Results with Pro-MAGA Edit Stunner
First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?

Trump isn’t interested in real, lasting diplomacy where details are negotiated and worked out to give a plan the best chance of success. He just wants quick “deals” with no specifics so he can declare a “win” so he can make it all about himself with a short-term fabrication.

There’s something very very wrong with a cabal of people who are ACTIVELY trying to leave their kids & grandkids an uninhabitable planet.
The EPA is moving forward with approvals for pesticides containing “forever chemicals” as an active ingredient, dismissing concerns about health and environmental impacts raised by some scientists and activists.

Here’s what to look out for:
EPA just approved new ‘forever chemical’ pesticides for use on food
Critics warn the EPA’s approvals of new PFAS pesticides could expose more Americans to “forever chemicals” through their food.

Mike Johnson's official bio says he has "two decades of previous experience in Constitutional law." Yet, when Trump threatens to execute Democratic members of Congress, he suddenly has no opinion.

This is what shameful cowardice does to someone like Johnson and it is how he will be remembered.

I won’t be the only 1 asking this.
Why hasn’t Johnson, Hancock, rest of the Tory gov involved in this catastrophe been charged with failure in public office? (Many would say murder)
Is it because they’re rich/privileged?
Yes it is.
Their wealth makes them unaccountable.
It makes democracy laughable

Investment was reduced by between 12% and 18%, employment by 3% to 4% and productivity by 3% to 4%.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.
