Feeling like we could all use a Luck Dragon right about now.
The opposite of “woke” is being asleep.

The opposite of “Black Lives Matter” is they don’t.

The opposite of “Antifa” is pro-fascist.

It’s amazing how much even the words they try to turn against us tell on them.

I wrote down some notes on privatization and the transfer of wealth. Tell the MAGA in your lives that they’re subsidizing billionaires by voting for republicans.

This powerful message: “I did the research and found out I was wrong.”

I’m not going to say much more except please take the time to watch. Then send it around to family and friends, no matter their political persuasion.

Between this and his post on X making light of the Minnesota lawmaker shootings, Senator Mike Lee is really having a banner week. Do better Utah!

I just wrote to both of my Senators. I suggest you do the same.
🚨 There’s a lot of horrific news out of Washington right now—but you might have missed this: Senate Republicans just introduced a plan to sell off 120 million acres of our public lands.

Let me break down what’s in the bill and why it’s a full-scale land grab. 🧵

I’ll be adding this to my rotation! Great idea.
I just wrote seven postcards to remaining employees at NOAA weather service in Hawaii and Alaska. I looked for the smallest offices I could. #HoldTheLine #ChaoticGood. I recommend it. It feels better than doomscrolling to give a random someone a surprise.

One nice thing about the Apple News subscription is I’m able to set up my current trusted news sources . . . This is not a big promo for Apple, I just already subscribe to their big combo bundle so I might as well put it to use.

I’ve been doing well on my 100 small acts of resistance. I’ve emailed numerous senators - mine and others - and as an Apple shareholder I was able to vote to maintain their commitment to DEI.

You know what’s super easy? Like the easiest thing ever? Breaking things. Creating bluster and chaos is as easy as a toddler knocking over a stack of blocks.

You know what’s super hard? Passing laws. Passing budgets. Building infrastructure. You know, governing.

As an introvert, I’ve never been much for marching in the streets. So between now and the mid-terms, (about 93 weeks) I’m going to challenge myself to do 100 Small Acts of Resistance. I’m putting this out here in case you want to join me.

What if another form of resistance is to refuse to participate in rampant consumerism after Jan 20th. This will be a big challenge for me (I was raised in America after all) but I’m going to focus on fixing, finding, foregoing for the year.
