For anyone who thinks #GavinNewsom is going to save our democracy, please take note of how he kowtowed to the makers of #foreverchemicals and vetoed a measure that would have protected consumers from these cancer-causing chemicals. He also vetoed a bill to help curb microplastics.

A set of chemicals found in food packaging, plastics, and lotions and shampoos has been linked to hundreds of thousands of deaths from heart disease, according to a study published Tuesday in the journal eBioMedicine.
