a 3.5" hard drive in my JBOD setup is throwing SMART errors for a low helium level. I didn't even know they could do that.
It's an HGST drive I bought secondhand from a data center. It's lived around 50,000 hours. Kinda impressive. I never know when it's time to preemptively replace them.
