First big snow of the season — 4-5”, depending on drift. Blew the snow (haha yes I made a funny), shoveled a bit, and dropped a little grit for traction. (Turkey grit, available at your local farm supply store is WAY better to apply than salt — you don’t care about ice, you care about slipping.)

I was at the Rodin museum in Philly the other week (a wonderful place)- I learned there that The Gates of Hell, one of Rodin's most iconic works, is something he worked on and revised for 37 years. That fact released some tension I had towards my own creative practice, tension I wasn't even aware of
