It’s my little (he’s not little at all) brother’s birthday today!
When he was younger he looked just like my son - but I’ve found as we’ve aged, that he and I look most alike of all my family.
So grateful to be able to know and love my birth fam ❤️

I couldn’t clean out the hall closet at my parents. I opened the door to it. And stared at mom’s coats. And I just couldn’t bring myself to move them.

This weekend I am cleaning out my parents hall closet - which is 80% just my mom’s jackets from the last 40 years.
I know there will be some great coats to donate.
I’ve been avoiding this task for 8 months.
There was something comforting about opening their door and seeing her things still there.

At speedy glass and some dude in a big ol ford pulls up, blocking 4 garage bays. The worker asks him to park around back so he’s not blocking cars from leaving, the man, driving a TRUCK says “I’d rather not park in the mud”.

But I am reminded over and over how blessed I was to have her for 48 yrs and how surrounded by care I continue to be ❤️

We had the good fortune of being seated next to two lovely (very handsome) youngish guys from NFLD.
