Today’s work day was a bit bananas.
I’m exhausted but determined to watch the newest episode of Matlock.
Back in the olden days, I had to force myself to sleep by 1 am.
These days I’m drinking coffee to stay awake until midnight. 🥴

As usual, Blue Rodeo was amazing.
We had the good fortune of being seated next to two lovely (very handsome) youngish guys from NFLD.
So glad we went, even though I was scared of the height we were at haha

My sister surprised me with tickets to Blue rodeo tonight! Barely back from New Brunswick with enough time to shower have dinner and go again. As a severe introvert, I absolutely know how tired I’m gonna be tomorrow. lol

My birthday is next week and I am having terrible anxiety about it. Not about getting older - I welcome that. But about experiencing my first birthday without my mom.
All of these firsts are brutal.

Spied this collection of pinecones on the steps.
Was like “hey dad, why are you collecting pinecones?”
He said “well, I can’t decorate the tree like your mother did. So I thought I’d paint the pinecones white and use them to decorate the tree this year”.
