Saw bald tires. I almost ran out of gas because I forgot I needed it. Saw a car just decide to turn left into oncoming cars as if they weren’t even there, narrowly missing 2 cars in the process. Saw an accident at the foot of my hill.

Immediately after posting this, I had to drive to Windsor. 40 min usually, took 1 hour. 70-80km/hr.
Friendly reminder, especially for folks driving half ton trucks - stop tailgating!!!! You have so much momentum behind you that if I have to stop or slow, you’re gonna fuck us both up!

RBC finally refunded 6 of 10 mos of account charges on my mom’s account there. They were charging $15.20 a month on an account not in use since March 2025.
So at least my dad got $90ish back on that. Ridiculous. I hate that bank.

Watched a large white delivery van cause an other car to have an accident to avoid hitting the white van (which backed out onto the Bedford highway without looking) - and then watched some old white guy yell at the poor dude who managed to avoid any cars but hit a snow bank, call HIM an idiot.

My dad’s cable box stopped working yesterday and the company said that they would send someone on Monday to fix it, but obviously that’s not gonna happen because of the storm. So I just ran him up a dozen DVDs so he can stay entertained at least
