What do you do if trying to introduce a contentious mass parking zone scheme and encourage public transport?

If you're Greenwich council you then support a bus route being cut which'll impact many - including a number of large new housing developments

Confirmed: TfL to cut busy 472 bus route serving new developments in Superloop plan - Murky Depths
Transport for London are cutting a busy bus route which will mean a net reduction in buses at a number of new developments

Blackheath’s fireworks could return this November for the first time in six years – but as a ticketed event with an admission charge.

The display has not been held since 2019, with Lewisham Council saying that it could not afford to put on the event.

To my local Labour MP, @cliveefford.bsky.social, please can you stop punishing the young and pandering to reform voters, who aren't going to vote for Labour anyway.
Hope it’s a negotiating tactic.
Fear it’s just bloody stupid.

Lied to my boss about spending a voluntary "charity day" at a local nature reserve for a free day off. Popped along to get a photo as proof, met some volunteers and spent the day helping them. Had a great time. Can't work out if I'm ahead or not.

Absolutely astonishing stuff from Luke Littler. He’s just a kid, under so much pressure, and he plays like that. The most naturally talented darts player I’ve ever seen. #thearras
