Dad's computer. He took out a loan for this one. Lugged it to France when we were there for his contract job. I remember he tried compiling code on it and it took hours. CGA graphics only.

For a price of $4,995, it featured a Intel 8088 processor, a 10MB hard drive, eight expansion slots, serial port, 128 kB RAM, 40Kb ROM.

once more I weep with gratitude at my perfectly behaved laser printer, which fires up and prints theatre tickets despite a) not having been used for several weeks and b) having been plugged in to another laptop before this task. Laser printers are the golden retrievers of tech; the goodest boys.
