Genuinely think part of the reason why I thought Chicago was so magical and I had such an increase in dopamine was I wasn’t on my dang phone all the time. Was just going through my photos and they are kinda sucky but that’s because I was IN IT for once.

it would be so awesome if yall didn’t only wear masks at explicitly political actions and instead saw your choice to wear a mask in, at the very least, public indoor spaces at the political action it is: one in direct opposition to the eugenic policies we’re being forced to live under.

Masks are under serious threat at being banned widely due to politicization. This would be a public health disaster. If you are only wearing a mask at protests, please consider also wearing them elsewhere. The more people mask, the more we normalize masks and protect them against bans.

please be conscientious of the way you talk about “masked people” these days; some face coverings are poor excuses for protection as they are used as vehicles for oppression, others—respirators—are themselves tools of liberation. act like it. mask up & support maskblocs.

Had to leave the event I was tabling at last night early because I was outside (thankfully masked) and people kept smoking and it was hurting my lungs 🫠 I’m too old and decrepit for DIY punk spaces anymore anyway.

A bird couple built a nest outside our living room window and we are VERY excited that they have some baby birds as of a couple days ago! We have named the bird family: Parents Conan (he has red feathers) and Marge Byrd and their children: Bort, Liza, Magpie, Santa’s Little Helper, and Snowball 3.

My bf and I got 3rd place in the Frida Trivia tonight which is super impressive considering we are two clowns and the other teams in the lead are comprised of a bunch of people who consistently know things

Been following this Alex Graham mess because I followed her work and was even briefly a paying Patron. But her latest comic and doubled down “explanation” are inexcusable. She is SO privileged she doesn’t even realize it. So gross.

This means that while I could get a shot, my boyfriend, who I live with and needs to protect me, wouldn’t, which is very concerning. That’s just one small personal reason I’m against this, not to mention how it affects EVERYONE. Covid doesn’t choose who it disables and harms. All are vulnerable.

This means that while I could get a shot, my boyfriend, who I live with and needs to protect me, wouldn’t, which is very concerning. That’s just one small personal reason I’m against this, not to mention how it affects EVERYONE. Covid doesn’t choose who it disables and harms. All are vulnerable.
My favorite thing to throw at folks who are able bodied enough to mask but don’t because it’s “uncomfy” and they “can’t breathe” is that I have part of my lung removed and can breathe in masks totally fine for hours at a time. My lung was collapsed and I still wore a mask over my cannula. Grow up.
