A bird couple built a nest outside our living room window and we are VERY excited that they have some baby birds as of a couple days ago! We have named the bird family: Parents Conan (he has red feathers) and Marge Byrd and their children: Bort, Liza, Magpie, Santa’s Little Helper, and Snowball 3.

We were out and about and saw a sign for an “estate sale” that was just some folks set up out in a parking lot, they had this pink cabinet for only $10 and we knew we needed it to complete our bedroom. It now houses some of our VHS collection. I may never leave this room now.

As a teenager I fell in love with punk music and a big part of that was falling in love with the Clash, who got me deeper into the values I still carry today. Happy International Clash Day, now more than ever!

Had to dig through the Cool Dog archives for something today and I’m always so in awe when I see the very first drawing I ever did of him. He was so fully formed. I was just doodling at my job. And then he came to life. Hard to believe this was nearly 11 years ago.
