Elon going all in on Generative AI, including enabling Grok to generate deepfakes OF MINORS is unconscionable.

So this is what it was all about!
I had an influx of 5000+ bot scrap visits yesterday overnight.
Please DO NOT buy Mosaic Pawpring designed products anywhere but from my shop directly.
Will keep an eye on it and opt out if I see anything anywhere. Please let me know if you find something

I thought I was safe since this is hitting Shopify shops (I’m using BigCartel) but I found one of my products listed. Thankfully it didn’t have the image and says unavailable so can’t be bought via Amazon. But “Bree Shop” name, product title, and some (AI rewritten) details. Fuck Amazon and AI. 😡
As if artists don't have enough to deal with, Amazon has a "Buy For Me" program in beta which is scraping indie shops for their items and putting them up on Amazon (often incorrectly), for their "AI agent" to buy from the other site. It is NOT opt in, and there is no opt out.

The focus is on the consent of the fictional character which rings all the same alarm bells for me that are associated with the demand for consent from an illustration-- it's concerning that this is the angle instead of, say, using AI to remove a real person's clothing. Thin edge of the wedge.
