#disability Accommodations are necessary for people who are deaf or hard of hearing to receive public information - including sign language interpreters. It is not okay for this administration to exclude us or make it harder.

Unbelievable. This is fascism Republicans taking their masks off. "We're against it!" Against kids getting an education. So, that leads to the next logical question.
Jessica: When I hear Republicans out there talking about their plan for education in America, I don't hear them talking about making sure disabled kids have access to a public education.

Interesting paper on a meta analysis of children who are D/deaf seeing benefits of learning sign language as part of their language development. The paper reviewed over 70 studies, mostly US based studies. Paper is from an England-based university phys.org/news/2024-11...
