Hints at more money for the BBC and guaranteed independence.
As expected, confirmation of the end of the TV Licence. General taxation is now ruled out, as were any regressive options that tax the poor unfairly. The rich will pay more.
It's likely to be a digital levy.

Do we do media regulation stuff here? Some good points in today's report from the Lords Communications & Digital Committee. This seems a wise remark. Sky, BBC, C4, ITV should take note. But how could GB News follow this advice, when it regularly taunts Ofcom on air and does not accept its rulings?
